Software Development Engineer in Test job at Metron Reston, VA, US

Job Description

Responsibilities

Build test infrastructure, including test harnesses and mocking infrastructure.
Design and implement automated and manual testing strategies.
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Improve software quality and reliability across Java, Rust, and TypeScript-based applications.
Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and end users to translate technical concepts into usable software.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
At least 3 years of industry experience.
Experience building test infrastructure, including mocking and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with software testing and test harness development.
Software development experience in Java, Rust, or TypeScript/React.
Familiarity with full-stack web application development in any frameworks or languages.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility to access classified information are required.
An active DoD security clearance and experience using ADO, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools are desired.
