Job Title: C++ Developer

Location: Foster City, CA

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced C++ Developer with strong expertise in modern C++ development on Linux systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and debugging production-grade software, distributed systems, communication technologies, and large-scale codebases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software using modern C++ on Linux.
Develop and debug production-level software components.
Work with publish/subscribe infrastructure such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and topic partitioning.
Work with Protocol Buffers, Nano Protobuf, and Data Distribution Service (DDS).
Develop and integrate software involving embedded systems and communication technologies.
Work with Ethernet and CAN-based communication systems.
Contribute to large-scale codebases using Git and standard software development workflows.
Analyze technical requirements, identify solutions, and troubleshoot complex software issues.
Participate in technical discussions and clearly explain design decisions and problem-solving approaches.

Required Skills

5+ years of software development experience.
Strong expertise in modern C++ and Linux.
Hands-on experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or similar pub/sub infrastructure.
Experience with Protobuf/Nano Protobuf and DDS.
Understanding of embedded systems.
Experience with Ethernet and/or CAN communication.
Experience working with large-scale codebases and Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and reason through unfamiliar problems.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
